Edward is an experienced CEO who has successfully built technology and consumer product companies. He has nearly 30 years of experience, including 25 years in senior leadership roles in the golf and technology sectors (Aculon, PowerMetal Technologies, TaylorMade-adidas Golf, Maxfli Golf, Dunlop Slazenger).
President and Founder
Eric Bruner founded Aculon in 2004 after negotiating with Princeton University for worldwide rights to a body of inventions made by Professor Jeffrey Schwartz and his research teams. Eric earned his Master of Science degree in 2000 and his Ph.D. in Chemistry from Princeton University in 2002. Eric’s thesis research involved organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs).
Vice President of Technology
Coinventor of Aculon’s underlying science. Author of core Aculon patents and lead Aculon technology development. Ph.D. in Chemistry from Princeton University. B.S. in 2001 from Rutgers.
Vice President Sales, USA
Don is an innovative electronics industry executive with more than 30 years of experience and a track record of dramatically increasing revenue by delivering creative solutions to customer problems. A holder of 9 semiconductor and cell phone patents, Don brings experience navigating from product concept to production, introducing new technologies to high-value markets, commercializing and licensing technology and IP, implementing creative sales strategies for large revenue streams, and developing innovative business models. Don joined Aculon after serving in executive roles at Semblant, Tessera, GE, Texas Instruments, and Amkor Technologies, where he delivered solutions for the smartphone, high-volume semiconductor (RF, power management, DRAM, NAND, power switching, processors), consumer electronics, automotive systems, and data storage markets. Don holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Management from the University of Cincinnati.
Vice President Sales, Asia
William has more than 30 years of solid track record in sales, marketing, and design-in within the electronic component, specialty chemical, automation and nano technology industries.
Prior to joining Aculon Inc, William drives the water proofing businesses for Semblant with the world’s top mobile phones makers. AS A founding member for Indium China, William has been instrumental in building up high performance sales, technical and customer service teams which fuel the company’s future growth.
William earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing and Management from University of San Francisco.
Director of Business Administration
With more than 30 years in business management, Rosalinda's leadership manages the day to day operations within Aculon.
Rosalinda earned her Bachelor's in Quantitative Economics and Decisions Sciences with minors in Mathematics, Physics and Political Science at the University of California, San Diego. She earned her JD/MBA from University of San Diego with an emphasis in International Economics. She has her Real Estate Certificate as well as her US/Mexico Business Certificate with experience in Real Estate Acquisitions and Construction. Rosalinda has also served in several board of directors and committees as well as received several awards for her volunteer services.
Director of Operations
With more than 20 years in management and 10 years in quality assurance, Dean's leadership manages the flow and tempo of operations within Aculon.
Dean earned his BA in Biology at the University of California, Santa Cruz. Many collegues endorse his skills in quality assurance, manufacturing, supply chain management, chemistry, and much more!
Global Business Development Manager, Energy Market
Elizabeth is a seasoned oil and gas professional with nearly fifteen years of experience working with top tiered technology and service companies. She has spent over five of those years focused exclusively on business development, where she has taken technologies from the initial proof of concept stage to full commercial development.
Prior to Aculon, Elizabeth worked for Baker Hughes in the Turbo-machinary product line focused on electrification of the upstream oil and gas market in the US unconventional plays. Other roles she held at Baker Hughes includes Global Product Line Director of Production Enhancement, Global Pressure Pumping Competency Manager, and Senior Fracturing & Acidizing Instructor. Additionally, she held roles as Director of Production Enhancement at Tendeka and Senior Sales Manager at ZL Chemicals, which were roles all based in Houston, Texas. Elizabeth also worked internationally in Oman, Qatar, and UAE for Schlumberger as a Fracturing Field Engineer. Elizabeth currently volunteers as an Area Director with Toastmasters and is a San Jacinto Girl Scout troop leader. She is the current Cotillion Director of the Clear Lake Chapter for the National League of Junior Cotillion.
Elizabeth earned her Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and Bachelor of Arts in Chinese, Economics, Mathematics, and International Affairs with Magna cum Laude distinction from the University of Colorado at Boulder. She completed the Chinese Language Program from East China Normal University in Shanghai, China.
Global Business Development Manager
With more than 20 years of experience, Jens´ career spans across research, manufacturing, sales and marketing, and customer support for the industrial adhesives, polymer films, man-made fibers, engineering plastics, and compounding markets.
Prior to his work for Aculon Jens worked for Henkel (industrial adhesives), cph (medium-sized industrial adhesive producer), Dynea (polymer dispersions), Sachtleben (today known as Venator, Titanium dioxide and other inorganic additives and pigments), Kraton (specialty polymers), and Polymer Chemie (compounding). He also successfully ran his own consulting business.
Jens earned his Master of Science degree with focus on organic chemistry in 1997, and after collecting industrial work experiences returned back to Duesseldorf university in Germany for his Ph.D. graduation in Chemistry in 2002. During his Ph.D. thesis research Jens focused on colloidal sciences, in particular he worked on Self-Assembled Monolayers (SAMs) on metal surfaces; one of today´s Aculon´s core technologies.
In addition to him acting as Global Business development manager being the project lead for some of Aculon´s global programs Jens is taking care of the development of Aculon´s European business as he is located in Duesseldorf / Germany. He also acts as Managing Director for Aculon GmbH, Aculon´s German legal entity.
