Aculon Technology
Aculon's patented technology requires no complex equipment through the use of our liquid phase treatments which result in
a 2-4 nanometer thick performance modifying treatment covalently bound to the substrate.
With the ability to treat
both surfaces and particles to be hydrophobic, oleophobic, and functionalized to promote adhesion or other characteristics,
Aculon's technology is extremely flexible.
Repellency Treatments
Aculon’s repellency treatment technology bonds with many different surfaces at the nano-scale
to create easy-clean, hydrophobic (water-repelling) and oleophobic (oil repelling), anti-smudge coatings. These coatings are
currently being used on metals, polymers, glass, and many other materials for numerous applications.
Particle Treatments
Aculon’s particle treatments can be used to modify the performance of a broad range of
materials used in many different applications including metals, metal oxides, polymers, and ceramics. Excellent for
functionalizing the surface of particles and fillers intended for use in highly specialized applications.
Adhesion Promotion Treatments
Functionalize difficlt to bond surfaces with Aculon's adhesion promotion treatment technology.
Modify a broad range of materials used in many different applications including metals, metal oxides, polymers, and
ceramics. Excellent for increasing the bond strength and inhibiting delamination of hard to bond substrates in your
application.
NanoClear for Stencils
Nanoscale fluxophobic stencil treatments are now available direct from Aculon! Aculon NanoClear stencil wipes deliver increased output and yield in
assembly lines. They reduce the number of under-stencil wipes. Faster release and improved print resolution is achieved. NanoClear stencil technology
has ben proven in the market for two years and now with a new and improved formula outperforms the competition in terms of performance and ease of use.
Hydrophilic Treatments
Aculon’s hydrophilic treatment technology bonds with many different surfaces at the nano-scale
to create hydrophilic water and oil attracting surface coatings. These coatings are
currently being used on metals, polymers, glass, and many other materials for numerous applications.
SAMP Technology
Aculon’s proprietary “Self-Assembled Monolayer of Phosphonates” (SAMP)
methodology can coat surfaces to impart hydrophobicity, oleophobicity adhesion, or corrosion inhibition.
