Hydrophobic Wool Coating
Aculon’s has several hydrophobic technologies that can be applied to wool and many other types of fabrics. These hydrophobic wool coatings are water repellent and easy-to-clean. These coatings are so thin you will not notice change in your fabric other than the repellent characteristics. These coatings repel most liquids and are less prone to staining. There are several different methods you can use to apply Aculon’s innovative coating technology, all of which are very easy and do not necessitate any costly equipment. Many of Aculon’s hydrophobic treatments are also oleophobic and are highly effective at repelling oil and dirt as well.
Oleophobic Wool Treatment
Aculon also has oleophobic wool coating technologies available, which bond with wool to create surfaces that are even more efficient at repelling oil (oleophobic), grime and the like. All of Aculon’s oleophobic treatments still repel water and thus retain hydrophobic qualities.
