Hydrophobic Tungsten Treatment
Aculon’s hydrophobic tungsten coating treatments bond with tungsten to create a water resistant (hydrophobic) surface that is anti-smudge and very easy to clean. Aculon’s surface treatment chemically bonds to tungsten surfaces, forming resilient nanoscale layers which repel water, dust, oil, and dirt from the tungsten product or component, making it much easier to clean and keep clean. Aculon’s innovative coating technology is very easy to apply and does not require any significant expenditure on application infrastructure or equipment. There are also several different application methods you can choose from. Aculon’s hydrophobic treatments are usually similarly effective at repelling oil (oleophobic) as well.
Oleophobic Tungsten Treatment
Aculon also has oleophobic tungsten technologies which bond with tungsten substrates which increase the oleophobicity of the surface. These oleophobic coatings repel oil, grime and the like. All of Aculon’s oleophobic treatments still repel water as well as oil.
