Hydrophobic Tile Coating
Aculon has several repellent hydrophobic technologies that can be applied to tile to provide a hydrophobic, repellent, anti-smudge and very easy clean surface. All of these technologie are easy to apply with common application methods including dipping, wipping or spraying. Costly equipment is not necessary to successfully apply the coatings. Aculon’s hydrophobic tile treatments bond to the tile surfaces to form very thin nanoscale layers which repel most liquids, water, dust, oil, and dirt from the tile surface and significantly reduces any cleaning effort. Many of Aculon’s hydrophobic technologies are also oleophobic which will repel both water oil and many other substances.
Oleophobic Tile Treatment
Aculon’s oleophobic tile surface treatments render tile surfaces especially effective at repelling oil and oil-based substances thanks to the nanoscale layers which form on the tile surface. All of Aculon’s oleophobic range of products also repel water (hydrophobic).
