Hydrophobic Polyamide Coating
Aculon’s hydrophobic polyamide coating materials bond with most polyamide surfaces, forming a durable surface coating that is very easy clean and repellent, thanks to their hydrophobicity and anti-smudge characteristics. Aculon’s hydrophobic polyamide treatments create extremely thin layers measurable at the nanoscale level which repels water, dust, oil, and dirt, effectively requiring far less effort to clean. There are several methods for applying Aculon’s hydrophobic coatings, all of which are very easy and do not need any special machinery or equipment. Most of Aculon’s hydrophobic treatments will also repel oil (oleophobic) as well as water.
