Hydrophobic Palladium Coating
Aculon’s hydrophobic palladium coating treatments form water-resistant molecular layers chemically bonded to palladium surfaces that bestow anti-smudge and easy-clean properties on the original surface. Aculon’s hydrophobic (water-repellent) surfaces are extremely thin layers measured at the nanoscale, or molecular level, and hence never significantly alter the dimensions or function of the surface, apart from the performance enhancements associated repelling water, dust, oil, and dirt from palladium surfaces. The hydrophobic coating technology is formulated for rapid and easy application through various means which do not require any special or costly additional equipment. Aculon’s hydrophobic treatments generally repel oil (oleophobic) as well as water.
Oleophobic Palladium Treatment
