Frank Archinaco, Chairman

Frank Archinaco was Executive Vice President and Co-Chief Operating Officer of PPG Industries until his retirement in 2002. Frank also had regional responsibility for all European Operations, and as a member of PPG’s Executive Committee, he participated in policy, strategy and corporate governance decisions. He served as Chairman of the Board of six PPG subsidiaries and joint venture companies.

During his 37-year PPG career, Frank held various positions in sales, marketing and general management, ultimately being assigned global responsibility for the company’s chemical, glass and fiberglass businesses. Frank also served as a Board Member of the American Chemistry Council and on the Executive Committee of the National Association of Manufacturers.

He earned his B.S. from Villanova University in 1965, and his M.B.A. from Seton Hall University. He also attended the Advanced Management Program at Harvard University in 1989.
